Albert Michaels collects paintings painted by Western New York painters between 1900 and 1970. The collection also includes works from outside Western New York during the same time period.
Major WNY art works including Alexander Levy the well known Art Deco painter from the 1920s, Virginia Cuthbert painting in the 1940s and after, Martha Vissert'hooft, a Claire Shuttleworth painting and several of Seymour Drummelvich 's modern Abstract Expressionist work.
There are several small collections of painters including; six by George Renouard, four Impressionist by Alexis Fournier, seven landscapes by John Inglis, seven paintings by Sally Cook, two by Mildred Green and watercolors by Robert Blair.
The paintings from outside the area include twenty Lawrence Lebduska, two Doris Lee, a mural study by Carl Schmidt and original Erte Watercolors.
All told there are over 150 paintings, prints, and watercolors.
