Art has a certain duality. One of excess of luxury with criticism and endless argument over value. The other a sum of imagination, skill, and material. Anyone can subjectively or objectively define what they find appealing or unpleasant. Whether one judges art by the age or whether they like it, it will retain a certain amount of controversy that it has held since the beginning of civilization. The real value as determined by experts eludes many of us. Aquiring a trained eye is no easy task when art has many mediums. When put in display form some people will find it much more inspiring. When groups of displays cover an entire condominium it takes on a new level of aesthetics. It takes a keen eye to recognize true skill but a child-like eye to recognize imagination. These displays represent both.
All the wonderful arrangements pervade every corner of the condominium. Some of these are more recent displays and some are older (as they are always changing) photographs taken almost 2 years ago. The website preserves some of the arrangements as the complexity of taking pictures in the condominium is apparent in the displays shown. I have spent years of my life viewing the many varied Art. From Morris Avenue to Chapin Parkway, I have memories of a dozen decorative clocks chyming in synchronicity. The new arrangements at the Campanile condominium complex dwarf the arrangements of Chapin and Morris. They are filled with energy and uncluttered mentality despite the river of artworks flowing through the condominium. You would have to view it yourself to understand the imagery of "river". Like the founders of the Albright Knox the art is a wonder of geometric form and classical skill. Take a look at the pictures presented in the displays.
